Decide where to invest in AI and keep those decisions current. We assess the opportunities, build the roadmap and work with leadership as projects develop and priorities change. [Talk about your priorities](mailto:hendrik@vibelab.be?subject=VANDAM%20/%20Strategy) ## A clear basis for investment. - **Opportunity assessment** A prioritized view of the work AI could improve, with the business need and readiness of each area. - **Cost and value** Estimates of benefit, effort and ongoing cost, with the assumptions visible and the uncertainties identified. - **A working roadmap** An agreed sequence of work, project owners and decision points that can be updated as you learn. ## Most companies use AI. Few have picked the work to change. In [McKinsey’s 2025 survey](https://www.mckinsey.com/capabilities/operations/our-insights/the-state-of-ai), **88%** of organizations used AI. Far fewer see it in their results. [BCG](https://www.bcg.com/publications/2025/are-you-generating-value-from-ai-the-widening-gap) counts only a small group that gets value at scale, and a much larger one that gets almost nothing back. - **5%** of companies get value from AI at scale. [BCG](https://www.bcg.com/publications/2025/are-you-generating-value-from-ai-the-widening-gap), 2025. - **60%** reap hardly any material value, with minimal revenue and cost gains. [BCG](https://www.bcg.com/publications/2025/are-you-generating-value-from-ai-the-widening-gap), 2025. - **3×** Top performers were nearly three times as likely to have redesigned their workflows. [McKinsey](https://www.mckinsey.com/capabilities/operations/our-insights/the-state-of-ai), 2025. The difference is in which work gets redesigned, and in what order. The [European Central Bank](https://www.ecb.europa.eu/press/key/date/2026/html/ecb.sp260323_1~1e06784a89.en.html) made the same point about whole economies in March 2026: the productivity gain from AI is “primarily driven by **the speed of diffusion**.” Strategy decides where that adoption starts. We weigh business goals, available people and what your systems can support in one discussion. Once projects run, the evidence gets better: what people use, where quality holds and what the systems cost to maintain. We bring that back into the next investment decision. ## How we set the priorities. 1. Set the direction: Leadership shares its goals and constraints. We speak with the people doing the work, review the current systems and agree what the assessment needs to establish. 2. Make the first decisions: Together we compare the opportunities, challenge the estimates and choose the work to pursue. The roadmap records what each project needs before it can begin. 3. Review as the work develops: For an ongoing engagement, we agree a review rhythm with your leadership team. You bring current results and business decisions; we update recommendations and help resolve the next priorities. ## The decisions between projects. Ongoing strategy creates a place to resolve the questions that cross teams, budgets and individual projects, with the right people involved. ### Keep the reasoning We record why a project has priority, what must be true for it to succeed and who makes the next decision. That record makes it possible to revisit a choice when the underlying assumptions change. ### Review the evidence We compare results with the original goals, including output quality, use by the team, operating cost and maintenance effort. The review informs whether to expand the work, change its scope or stop investing. ### Reassess the options We help leadership assess relevant changes in AI capabilities and suppliers against the roadmap. New possibilities receive the same scrutiny as existing projects: business value, readiness, effort and a responsible owner. ## Services for this step ### Floor Plan How your company works today: people, roles and workflows, mapped before any AI **$6,400** two weeks · credited if you continue ### AI Opportunity Map A prioritized plan for your next AI projects **$9,600** two weeks ### Agent-Ready Audit Assess your data, systems and access ### Agent Relationship Audit How AI tools find, compare and recommend your business **$11,200** two weeks ### Pilot Workshop Design one AI pilot with your leadership team in a day **$4,800** one day **Start with a conversation** One email to Hendrik, then a price for the service that fits, agreed before we start.
